With "Jamtown" John Hayden

Bio:
John Hayden and his company JAMTOWN celebrate a common love for music shared by all cultures in two important ways. First, he facilitates youth & community rhythm events featuring hands-on participation. Second, since 1995 John has created fair trade relationships with low-income artisans and co-operatives around the world for the purpose of importing musical instruments which are sold throughout the USA and Canada (Top Ten Toys, Planet Happy, Snapdoodle Toys locally). Inspired by his own toddler (now 5 years old) John expanded his offering to include tots music and birthday parties. Jamtown Music Center in now open in North Seattle and also offers adult hand drumming classes 4 nights per week.
